Project Spotlight

Gartmore Riding School, Staffordshire

To the Emile Faurie Foundation,

I extend my deepest gratitude for your generous funding, which has enabled many schools to offer children the extraordinary experience of horse riding and care. These opportunities are often beyond reach for many, making your contribution all the more significant. It's truly inspiring to witness your dedication to providing young people with such unique and memorable experiences, fostering a connection with animals and the outdoors. If only more organisations could share your strong vision and invest in enriching the lives of the younger generation in this positive way and continue to support equine establishments.

Below is our wonderful feedback we would like to share with you from a range of school we have been able to support and help them to gain riding and life skills through your foundation.

Chasetown Community School

"The children's reactions to the experience were overwhelmingly positive; they thoroughly loved the chance to get close to the horses and learn the intricacies of equine grooming. Their enthusiasm was palpable , as they expressed delight at the new skills they were acquiring. Furthermore, the feedback from parents was equally supportive. Many expressed gratitude for affording their children such a remarkable experience, describing it as 'an experience of a lifetime'".

Pelsall Village School

"The children, whatever their abilities and understanding, did really enjoy their time with the horses - their excitement has been lovely to see and for some of the older children who have particular SEMH needs, it was heart-warming to watch them put their difficulties to one side as they worked with these gentle creatures. The children definitely have their favourites now (Lady, Wispy, Barney, Quincy and Yogi".

Lower Farm School

"The benefits the children have gained from being abe to ride have been remarkable. Their mental health, well being and confidence have all improved through participation in an activity that was entirely new to them. Your calm manner, along with that of your staff, ensured that the children felt at ease from their very first lesson. In addition to developing their riding skills, they have also gained valuable new vocabulary and knowledge that they had not previously encountered".
