The Foundation offers courses of lessons to disadvantaged youngsters living in Inner cities and poorer areas of the UK to whom riding and contact with horses may not be within their reach.

The Foundation works closely with State Schools and Youth projects and directly funds their lessons. These lessons teach more than just riding they develop life skills such as self-confidence and self esteem, responsibility and discipline which can have a positive impact on their academic performance too.

Some have gone on to seek a career in the Equine Industry.

Many of these children have also experienced trauma in their lives and the horses have a therapeutic positive effect on their lives.

Since the beginning the Foundation has funded over 100 projects throughout the UK and helped over 25,000 children to experience riding and the joy of being with horses.
